Terms of use

Last updated [DATE]

The short version: be kind, post honest reviews, and always check dog policies with the venue. The full terms are below.

1. About PupFriendly

PupFriendly (pupfriendly.com.au) is run by [BUSINESS NAME], ABN [ABN]. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

2. Your account

You need to be 18 or over to create an account, buy from the shop or run a business account. Keep your login details safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

3. Listings and dog policies

Listings come from businesses, members and public sources. Dog policies change, so listings show when they were last checked. Always confirm with the venue before you go. Venues decide who they let in, and we’re not responsible for those decisions.

4. Reviews and photos

You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us a non-exclusive licence to show it on PupFriendly and in our marketing. Reviews must be about your own genuine visit. Don’t review a business you own, work for or compete with, and don’t post reviews you were paid or rewarded for. We may remove content that breaks these rules or the law.

5. Business accounts

Listing, claiming and managing your business on PupFriendly is free — there are no paid business accounts. You only pay if you choose to buy a featured spot or advertising; those are paid upfront for a set period and don’t renew automatically unless you ask us to. You must keep your listing accurate, including your dog policy.

6. Advertising and sponsored content

Paid placements are always labelled “Sponsored”, “Partner” or “Advertisement”. Paid placements don’t change a venue’s reviews or rating.

7. Bookings

Bookings are made with the venue or through its booking partner. The booking is a contract between you and the venue, and their terms and cancellation policy apply.

8. The PupFriendly shop

Shop products are made to order and shipped by our print partner. Delivery times are estimates. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or misprinted, contact us within 30 days for a replacement or refund.

9. Reporting a problem

Use “Report an issue” on any listing to tell us a place has closed, is no longer dog-friendly, or has wrong information. We review every report.

10. Consumer law and liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect loss arising from your use of the site or from information provided by third parties.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. Questions: hello@pupfriendly.com.au. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
